PSYCH the ANIMATED ANIMATION
Dabbling in Motion graphics and AE, plus the ending of Psych resulted in this. Good shit Psych is, and hopefully this captures a wee bit of Psych's idiocy. Above is a half assed attempt at the Santa Barbara skyline. Illustrator is also being explored, so the characters were done in the same. I didn't bother with the likenesses as much as I could have, but I'm starting to feel the love between After Effects and Illustrator. YAY FOR VECTORS!

A promotional video made for Place for Change: a non-profit organization which works to connect people who want to make a difference with appropriate causes they want to support.
The film was a joint effort between Manasi Parikh, Krishnachandran A. Nair, Troy Vasanth and I. Manasi Parikh and I worked on the pre-production till the final animatic design. The animation was done by Krishnachandran, the film composited by Troy Vasanth, who also did the sound design. The coloring work was shared equally across the board.
The final work has been presented below, with stills from the film as well.

Year of the Optimist.
A short animated card I did for bringing in 2013. Done in a little under two days on Flash CS5, and touched up on After Effects. The music is an excerpt from "The Optimist" by Zoe Keating on cello.
Scenes from a Film
A small section from my classroom project. This is the first time we do an individual film by ourselves and attempt not to muck it up. That was pretty much when I decided to make it a film about two crocodiles who flirt with each other from across a building and do other silly things like that, because that's exactly the kind of silly person I am . It was hand animated on a lightbox, inked over in Photoshop with watercolour backgrounds. I should probably add some character sketches later and what do you mean crocodiles aren't romantic
Anyway, with apologies to Cabin Pressure's Captain Martin DuCrieff -. Regarder vous, mes amis - la Crocodile!

Vague attempts at my Diploma
Exactly what it says on tin - quick and dirty attempts to draw out scenarios from my Diploma film in an attempt to understand the story better. All this subtext-y magic is very hard to integrate while being subtle. The film is (in my head anyway) titled Eisoptrophobia - which aptly means fear of mirrors. More art later.
Animation: Happy Birthday Ashita!
Finally an animation on the blog. Birthday obligations for this person lead to this -
